Afghanistan: Unless water resources are managed properly, settlements in some areas in the country will in future not be possible

Afghan Government warned that settlements in some regions of the country will not be possible in future if action is not taken to safeguard the country’s water resources.

Officials of the Afghan Government said that although the ministry of water and energy and other relevant institutions have launched a number of programs to tackle the issue there is still a need for collective efforts of all institutions and the people to overcome the challenge.
