Afghan government's "Invest in Afghanistan" plan got the 1st position among Central Asian countries

Congratulating the Nation for the achievement, the Minister of Commerce and Industries of Afghanistan said that "Receiving the first position shows a better view of foreign investors’ situation, facilitating economical activities in the country and encouraging foreign investors.”  The Minister stressed that “Local and foreign investment in 2016 has reached to more than $1.7 billion, while it was $683 million in 2015.”  It indicates the commitment of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani to support the domestic products and attract investments in the country. The Annual Investment Meeting which was organized for three days in Dubai, gathered representatives of 144 countries, 400 commercial organizations and thousands of investors.
