Il Governo afghano firma un accordo di pace con il gruppo militante Hezb-e-Islami guidato da Gulbuddin Hekmatyar

Rappresentanti del governo afghano hanno firmato in diretta televisiva un accordo con il secondo gruppo di ribelli più grande del paese. L’accordo garantisce impunità al leader del gruppo, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, accusato di numerose atrocità e attualmente latitante. In cambio, il capo militare islamista ed ex primo ministro afgano riconosce la nuova costituzione e abbandona la violenza. Perché l’accordo entri in vigore, dovrà avvenire un’ulteriore firma reciproca tra Gulbuddin Hekmatyar e il presidente dell'Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani.
