Afghanistan Ministry of Public Works signs contract for the construction of Herat Ring Road '2nd Phase' with Unique Builders Construction Company

The Herat Ring Road (Total length about 25 km), will help to reduce the crick in traffic and it is an alternative route to connect the roads of Herat-Islam Qala to Herat-Qandahar and will be used for heavy vehicles.
In his speech during the signing ceremony, the Italian Ambassador said "I am pleased that this contract has been signed. Monitoring of this project is undertaken by the Embassy of Italy in Afghanistan, we will share all details of the project with the Contractor and will show to Herat’s People that we Italians are faithful to our promises."
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive of Afghanistan Government, Dr Abdullah Abdullah, has called on local people to cooperate with Afghan law enforcement agencies in providing the security of the Ring Road.
