The National Procurement Commission (NPC) of Afghanistan discussed supply of medicines and medical products to Afghanistan in its last session on Saturday, March 26, 2016. The President of Afghanistan, Dr. Ashraf Ghani, assigned the Ministries of Health, Justice, Economy, Finance, Interior, Defense and other related institutions to provide necessary recommendations to the High Economic Council (HEC) for attracting more investments in the health sector. The HEC will receive within two months a draft for a comprehensive plan for the production of quality medicines.
