Aino Mena, a township in the southern province of Kandahar, is considered a leading example of reconstruction and development in Afghanistan. Situated in the province of Kandahar, the site gently slopes and has a backdrop of mountains bordering the Arghandab valley. The construction of this township has brought about positive changes to the lives of hundreds of people in the area. The township is spread over 20000 jirebs of land and is home to 4000 families. But the township has not only provided housing to people but it has also created over 250 thousand jobs over the years. Currently over 800 people work for the township and earn between Afs 14,000 up to Afs 140,000 monthly.
