Three Afghan cricketers banned for ethical misconduct

Three Afghan players have been handed bans by the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) over ethical misconduct.
They are bowler Aftab Alam, batsman Najeeb Tarakai and Noorulhaq Malekzai, who plays mainly in the role of a batsman. While Tarakai has been banned for 10 months, Alam has been given a four-month ban from domestic and international cricket. Malekzai has been banned from domestic cricket for two months. ACB’s Discipline Committee said that the players were found to have violated ethical code of conduct during a competition.
